Richard Sofoluke of Owings Mills, other Geisinger Commonealth School of Medicine students, organize annual International Luncheon and Cultural Explosion Fashion Show

Richard Sofoluke of Owings Mills, a master of biomedical sciences student at Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine, helped to plan and organize the school's annual International Luncheon and Cultural Explosion Fashion Show with the school's student-run Diversity Task Force. Sofoluke modeled clothing from Nigeria.

"Understanding the rich tapestry within our community has been part of our culture since the school's inception," said Ida L. Castro, J.D., Geisinger Commonwealth's chief diversity officer and vice president for community engagement. "Our annual event focuses on the power of our diversity by inviting all members of our school community to cook and share a dish unique to their heritage and to take part in the Cultural Explosion Fashion Show."
