Divinemercy Bakare of Brooklyn Park receives Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine's "Excellence in Leadership" award

On Saturday, May 6, Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine master of biomedical sciences (MBS) students attended an awards ceremony held to recognize the significant achievements of the MBS Class of 2017. Divinemercy Bakare of Brooklyn Park received the Excellence in Leadership award at the ceremony.

The Excellence in Leadership award is presented to an MBS student who has demonstrated excellence in leadership during his or her time at Geisinger Commonwealth. In order to receive the award, the recipient must bring ideas to life and meet deadlines in a timely fashion. The individual facilitated positive group dynamics and decisions within the class.
