Aditya Eturi of Hackettstown multiple award-winner at Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine ceremony

Aditya Eturi of Hackettstown received multiple awards at a ceremony held May 6 at Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine. Dr. Eturi received the Service to Class Award for Pre-Clinical Years (first and second years of medical school); the Service to Class Award for Clinical Years (third and fourth years of medical school); and the Service to College Award.

The Service to Class Award for Pre-Clinical Years award is presented to a fourth-year Geisinger Commonwealth student who has contributed most to the class during the pre-clinical years and the Service to Class Award for Clinical Years is presented to a fourth-year Geisinger Commonwealth student who has contributed most to the class during the clinical years of medical school. Finally, the Service to College Award is presented to a fourth-year Geisinger Commonwealth student who has devoted a significant amount of time and energy to the development of Geisinger Commonwealth as a new and innovative medical institution. Dr. Eturi's ideas and dedication have helped build a better Geisinger Commonwealth through school involvement, Liaison Committee on Medical Education (LCME) committees and community development.

Dr. Eturi received his MD from Geisinger Commonwealth on May 7.
